The business is not a new start up it’s just that the business has only started selling under the current legal entity since January 1 2019.

During the 2-3 years development phase of the business, the ESA Battery storage solution was sold and installed by another business owned by the shareholders of ESA. This was so the shareholders could refine the product and monitor the systems for a sufficient time before they scaled up the commercialisation of the products under in its own legal entity, Energy Storage Australia.
